About Hannah

As a counselor, Hannah’s main desire is to be a catalyst for restoration. With her faith as her foundation, she believes that hope and peace can be found in any situation. Hannah hopes to aid others in overcoming the painful challenges of life through embracing their own unique purpose and identity.

For individual adults and couples, she primarily uses Restoration Therapy, helping clients work from pain to peace in both past and current hardships. In cases of trauma or phobia, Hannah utilizes her training in EMDR. For young children, she uses the Child-Centered Play Therapy model. This model provides children with a safe, accepting space to process and display emotions related to all types of issues (i.e. trauma, behavior, social skills, development). With couples, Hannah desires to encourage a deeper understanding of an “US” identity using research-based techniques as a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and a PREP-Certified Counselor. Hannah’s other clinical specialties involve working with individuals experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, and family and social relationships.

ABOUT RESTORATION THERAPY
Restoration therapy is a new approach to assessment, treatment and healing in individual, marital and family therapy.  It utilizes techniques and theory that help individuals gain clear insight about their identities and perspectives on relationships as well as giving the therapist a cadre of intervention techniques that move individuals into responsible change of persistent and long standing patterns.

Coming from a tradition of Contextual Family Therapy, the Restoration approach provides the therapist with clarity of assessment of individual and relational issues yet utilizes sound mindfulness strategies to produce real and long-lasting systemic change.

What I Do in My Free Time

Outside of the therapy office, you will most likely find Hannah enjoying time with her husband and daughter around their neighborhood, coffee or matcha in hand. She is passionate about holistic, natural healing through food. Her other loves include anything related to dance, baking, and the outdoors, but always with friends.
